Product Description
The Nirvanix Storage Delivery Network is a web-based platform for developers enabling quick and easy integration of scalable storage and delivery into any application. The Nirvanix SDN was designed to fulfill the explosive and unpredictable needs of user generated content applications. Provided via standards based web services and in an on-demand business model developers can now expedite their time to market and effortlessly control their costs.
Market Opportunity
Nearly 70% of the digital universe will be usergenerated by 2010 and over half of that will be online, according to IDC. ESG forecasts that the $3.0 billion media storage market is growing at a 96% CAGR to over $43 billion by the end of 2010.
DEMO Says
With the flood of rich online content comes an almost desperate need for deeper infrastructure. Problem is, we’re not exactly all rich with cash these days. That’s why we love companies like Nirvanix, which offers affordable yet fully featured backends. Nirvanix’s media-optimized storage solution offers a true file system, a global network of nodes and integrated media processing including transcoding and image extraction. It may all be Greek to some but if you enjoy multimedia on the Web, you’ll want Nirvanix powering your favorite sites.
